This violin is made from a Guarneri model using a one-piece back cut on the quarter from flamed maple. The curl is of medium to narrow width and ascends to the right. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece back is of European spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with red-brown oil varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
