This violin is made from a Guarneri model using a two-piece back cut on the quarter from flamed maple. The curl is of broad width and descends from the center. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of narrow spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a light red-brown varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
