This violin is made from a personal Guarneri model using a one-piece back cut on the quarter from strongly flamed Balkan maple. The woven curl is of medium width and ascends slightly to the right. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of narrow to medium grain European spruce, and broadens slightly toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a red-brown varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
