This violin is made from a personal Stradivari model using a two-piece back cut on the quarter from strongly flamed European maple. The curl is of medium to broad width and descends from the center. The scroll and ribs are of similar wood. The two-piece top is of medium to narrow, and somewhat irregular grain spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with an orange-brown varnish on a golden ground
