This 3/4 size violin is made from a personal ‘del Gesù’ model using a two-piece back cut on the quarter from Balkan maple. The curl is of medium width and ascends from the centre joint slightly. The scroll and ribs are of the same wood. The two-piece top is of European spruce and expands toward the edges. The violin is finished with a red-orange varnish on a golden ground and is antiqued.
