This violin is crafted from a personal ‘del Gesù’ model using a two-piece back cut on the quarter from Balkan maple. The curl is of broad width and descends from the center seam. The scroll and ribs are of the same wood. The two-piece top is of narrow to medium grain European spruce and broadens toward the flanks. The violin is finished with a red-orange varnish on a golden ground and is lightly antiqued.
